Grupo Caledonia takes its name from Caledonia, the old Roman word for Scotland. Strong people, a united land, and a reputation for doing things their own way. I liked that.

Grupo Caledonia has one simple goal: to do hospitality in Madrid a wee bit better. Not louder. Not trendier. Just better.
I founded Grupo Caledonia, but I have never seen myself as the protagonist. The real strength of what we do comes from the teams behind each venue. Hospitality is not a solo story. It is built day by day by the people who open the doors, welcome the guests, and give life to every space. We don’t believe great businesses are built on concepts alone. They’re built on people. On teams that feel trusted, supported, and proud of where they work.

Our venues are all different, but they share the same mindset. Attention to detail. Care for atmosphere. And a slight obsession with how a place makes you feel, not just what it serves.

We build spaces around passion, beauty, and experience. Places where people come to enjoy themselves, connect, and forget the outside world for a while. Drinks and coffee matter, of course. But they’re never the whole story.

Grupo Caledonia is about good people and good clients. About being present, enjoying yourself, having a cocktail, a coffee, a laugh and living life!
