MASARU is a small cocktail bar built around the bar itself.

It’s a place for going slowly, paying attention, and having a proper drink. One on one. Guest and bartender. It’s meant to feel like stepping into a tiny bar somewhere in Golden Gai in Tokyo (ゴールデン街), rather than the heart of Madrid.

The inspiration comes from Japan and the way drinks are treated there. Balanced, precise, and made with care. We work a lot with Japanese whisky and sake, alongside cocktails that are clean, measured, and deliberately restrained.

Everything here is about quality. Good ingredients, good technique, and doing things properly. Drinks are made calmly, explained simply, and meant to be enjoyed at the bar, not rushed through.

Masaru is small, focused, and personal. A bar for people who like their drinks considered and their conversations unforced.
